What We Do
DSV is seeking to help de-mystify and professionalise the complex and opaque world of digital assets, whilst exploiting a rich arbitrage opportunity set against a long-term inflationary and currency debasement outlook.
- Our mission is to make investing in digital assets simple, effective, and safe for eligible investors. We offer risk-adjusted exposure to your existing investment portfolio through our regulated fund structure.
- Our aim is to achieve VC-style returns over each cycle. We expect to 5x capital as a minimum during the current bull-market!

Our investment process can be summarised as follows:
1 - We “Cycle Narrative Surf”. The crypto cycles are ALL about narratives. The best tech often never wins in crypto, it's those that weave and ride the cycle narratives that boom. Based on our research we select the top performing protocols of each cycle.
2 - Identify the virgin landscape creators/innovators within our chosen narrative and/or the projects that are highly probable to attract most attention and capital. We always maintain solid entry pre-requisite criteria such as fair launch projects, sound tokenomics, real world use cases, product roadmap and existing/potential commercial partnerships.
3 – We position ourselves accordingly, trade around that niche to increase position size, whilst laser honing in on cycle exits. We will take profits over a market cycle as protocols become overvalued.

Siam Kidd
Chief Investment Officer
Siam is an ex-RAF Pilot who also started Trading at the age of 18. Over the last 20 years on the markets he’s publicly called many major economic events and profited from them such as the 2015 Black Monday crash where he made £422k in 30 minutes and the 2020 Oil crash which he shorted from $80 down to $10. He’s also made multiple thousand % ROI gains in the last 2 Crypto cycles since 2017.
In 2015, Siam was the best performing Fund Manager in the UK, attaining 60% ROI in the 11 months that his AR PAMM fund was running.
In 2016 he set up a Private Equity firm and promptly bought over 12 businesses. Unfortunately, this venture was peppered in misfortunes. Which is one of the risks when acquiring distressed businesses! But this firm is now on the up thankfully. He also recently sold his Crypto PE firm for £10.75m and is currently in the earn-out phase.
Siam is a regular Key Note speaker who has a wide range of presentations for any demographical audience from Macroeconomics, Trading, M&A and Business, AI/Robotics/Tech and more importantly, Crypto and Blockchain of which is his deepest skill and knowledge base.
Siam’s long passion is to help improve the Education system and is beginning with educating parents the proper ways of Wealth Generation in the hopes of them passing the knowledge onto their kids.
In his spare time, he is an avid gamer and flies aeroplanes and helicopters for fun.
John Moran
Chief Executive Officer
A commercial, sales and development professional with an operational track record, who leads from the front. He is an MBA graduate with a keen focus on delivery of goals and outcomes. His career has lead him to lead large operational teams for both large and small organisations and is a Lean Practitioner who enjoys using his skills to drive efficiency. John is also a keen investor who holds residential property, stock options and crypto assets.
As CEO, John will be responsible for operational requirements of the Fund, with a strong emphasis on business development.
Rob Comer
Chief Financial Officer
Rob has a degree in Accounting and Finance and a Masters degree in Economics of Money, Banking and Finance, where he majored in Economics and Corporate Finance. Rob qualified as an accountant and tax adviser in 2002 and since that time he has worked in various senior roles within practice at BDO Stoy Hayward and Mazars, including audit, group finance, corporate finance, transaction support and outsourcing. Additionally, he has held a number of posts within Industry, mainly centred around construction and contracting.
Rob has recently spent most of his time in the alternative investment space, raising a significant amount of capital for a small number of alternative investments.
Currently serving as CFO for DSV, where he oversees the finance team, Rob is tasked with technically analysing and forecasting the strategic options for the Fund, the financial reporting process and is responsible for the Treasury requirements of the Fund.
Outside of corporate life, Rob is a keen investor, having built up a significant residential property portfolio, as well as having interests in other alternative asset investments.
Bob O'Brien
Bob is a graduate of the University at Buffalo, holding degrees in Finance and MIS.
He possesses a comprehensive understanding of both traditional finance and the emerging cryptocurrency landscape. With over 20 years of experience in educating and advising institutional clients, Bob has effectively navigated complex markets, led high-performing teams, and driven innovation in the digital asset sector.
Most recently, he served as CEO of Uphold Institutional, where he managed a cross-functional team focused on growth and innovation within the cryptocurrency industry. Prior to this role, he was a strategic advisor at Aori, concentrating on the development of go-to-market strategies for institutional trading in decentralized finance (DeFi) and providing insights on business development, partnerships, and sales.
Bob’s initial foray into the cryptocurrency space was with Falcon X, where he was instrumental in creating a go-to-market structure aimed at facilitating the introduction of traditional investors to digital assets. His foundational experience in finance includes roles in quantitative and equity research sales.
Outside of his professional endeavours, Bob is an enthusiastic tennis player, enjoying the sport during his leisure time.
Mark Creaser
Chief Marketing Officer
Mark is a dynamic and commercially savvy marketer with over 20 years of results-driven creativity under his belt. His career began in sales and marketing, culminating in a Managing Director role before he took the leap to launch his own marketing business.
As a business growth specialist and sought-after consultant, Mark’s approach combines sharp analytical precision with creative ingenuity. He blends deep industry expertise with well-crafted, compelling narratives to help brands forge meaningful connections and engage their audiences effectively.
Beyond marketing, Mark is an active investor in both stock and crypto, and as CMO of DSV, he’s the driving force behind growing and evolving the brand.
When he’s not busy working (and sometimes when he is), Mark’s passion is for travel.
Thanks to the magic of tools like Slack, Zoom, and FaceTime, he’s mastered the art of working from wherever the road leads him.

- We have professionally managed external capital since 2017. Throughout this time, our investments have delivered outstanding results and significant alpha.
- We are a regulated digital asset investment fund, with fully regulated partners, including a regulated administrator, regulated custodian and an FCA regulated exchange partner. Our fund will be audited annually by a global, top ten audit firm.
SECURITY
- Security is a critical factor when trading digital assets. We have implemented multiple solutions to secure the safekeeping of investor funds and the smooth operation of our business.
- We keep all our investor funds away from central exchanges and in cold wallets.
- We deploy an independent, bespoke custody solution, whereby the Investment Manager does not have lone transfer rights over the assets. The final sign-off of any asset movement is controlled by the Fund’s Custodian.
- Individuals are assigned various levels of access to the wallets but only the fund custodian has the capacity to move any digital asset. Moreover, the only authorised movement of cryptocurrency and fiat currency is between the crypto exchange and the custodial bank.
EXPERTISE
- We focus on fundamental and technical analysis and we always follow the data. We don’t leverage or day trade; we methodically buy and sell specific positions over a short to medium term, consistent with our long-bias hold strategy.
- We do this through our thorough understanding of the digital asset markets, relentless levels of research and careful analysis of the current price action.
- Our fund takes advantage of fully researched Staking Strategies. Staking is a mechanism that allows investors to participate in the validation process of a blockchain network and earn a return on their staked assets. DSV Fund offers exposure to the performance of staking, while capturing staking rewards that are accumulated in the Net Asset Value of the Fund.
TRANSPARENCY
- The investor will receive a monthly Net Asset Value (“NAV”) statement from the independent, regulated administrator. Also, the fund’s performance and accounts will be audited every year by an independent, qualified, global top ten auditor.
PERFORMANCE
- Our aim is to generate superior alpha over the course of each crypto cycle.
- The fund performance will be communicated to investors every month by way of monthly NAV statements.
- We aim to perform independently of traditional stock and bond investments, thereby providing valuable diversification benefits and enhancing the risk/reward profile of a traditional investment portfolio.
